Delicious, Easy and Corn-Syrup Free Granola Bars

I absolutely love making granola bars. They are easy to customize for your liking, can be chewy or crunchy and you can pack them full of nutrients, protein and fiber which will help you feel full longer. What’s great about them is the fact there aren’t a lot of unnecessary ingredients and you can make corn-syrup free granola bars that are better than store bought!

Without a doubt, granola bars is an easy recipe to involve the family to get them to learn about healthy baking. If you want to make corn syrup free granola bars, make sure to check the ingredients on any additions you add to the granola. For instance, some marshmallows are made with corn. Last thing you want to do is make a corn syrup free granola bar and add high fructose corn syrup by accident!

The best thing about these granola bars? They last forever. I’ve had them in an air tight container for nearly a month and they were still tasty. You can freeze them up to a year as well. They don’t need refrigerated and make a great on the go snack. Finally, they are so portable. You can pop a few in a baggie and have them in your purse for those moments of hangriness.

Want or need more help? Here is a video of my personal favorite granola bar, honey nut. It’s also a corn-syrup free granola bars recipe!

Notes

*If you use marshmallows, it will add corn sugar or syrup to the recipe unless you look for those made without corn.
