Prepare: 10 minutesmins
Bake: 25 minutesmins
Servings: 24bars
Ingredients
3 cups(240g) oats
1cup(200g) additional ingredients (chocolate, more nuts, fruit, shredded coconut)
1cup(113g) nuts
½cup(168g) honey
¼cup(60mL) oil
½tsp(2g) salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F (180C.)
Line a 9×13 (23×33 cm) pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil and coat with non-stick spray or with oil.
In a large bowl, stir together all the dry ingredients.
Toss the dry mixture with the oil and honey until well coated.
Press into the pan with the back of an oiled spoon or a piece of wax paper.
Bake 20 - 25 minutes. The longer you bake them, the crunchier the bars will be when they cool.
Cool in pan, remove and place block on cutting board. Cut into 24 slices. Store up to 3 weeks in an air tight container.
Notes
*If you use marshmallows, it will add corn sugar or syrup to the recipe unless you look for those made without corn.
