3 Ingredient Banana Dog Treats

3 ingredients make up these tasty banana dog treats even you could eat! My crew wanted a new snack. They were tired of their pumpkin dog treats the dog told me. So why not make them a new healthy dog treat recipe? With just three ingredients, this is an easy snack to bake! With just an egg, banana and some flour, you will have two dozen cookies to share with your best friend in no time.

These banana dog treats are low in calories, fat, protein and sugar. They don’t add a lot of calories to your dog’s daily diet so they are a great addition for the occasional treat. Our three dogs share one snack and would be happy to eat all of them in one go. Do you have to use rice flour for these dog treats? Absolutely not. Wheat flour works perfectly fine, and in some cases so does corn meal. Another great flour is ground up oats. We have always used rice flour because Raymond has food allergies.

This is a great opening for the disclaimer: all dogs are different and it’s wise to consult with a veterinarian when adding new foods to your dog’s diet, including treats. Every dog is different and some have dietary restrictions due to underlying health conditions. But as far as dog treats go, banana dog treats are a tasty and safe for the majority of dogs out there.

Did your dogs like the treats? What do you mean you haven’t made them yet? These are so easy to make, you could have finished them quicker than reading the details on this page.
