Ingredients
½pound(226g) bread
¼cup(60mL) oil
1tbs(8g) minced garlic
2tsp(6g) Italian seasoning blend
½tsp(2g) salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F (200C.)
Cut up and cube bread into 1" or smaller sections.
Place in a large bowl and pour in oil and spices. Coat bread by tossing with hands or using a spoon until well coated.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray if it isn't non-stick.
Arrange cubes of bread on baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake 15-25 minutes, turning over bread once halfway through baking.
If not using immediately, reduce oven to 200F (100C) and bake an additional 30 - 60 minutes. This will further dehydrate them and keep them from going soggy.
Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container or freeze.
