Happy Fourth Anniversary, My Dear Jackson!

No recipe today, folks. So, sorry about that. But it is for a good cause! Jackson is taking the day off to celebrate his 4th year of freedom. This little guy helped give me my life back. Happy Fourth Anniversary, Jackson.

For those that don’t know, Jackson is a medical alert and response service dog. This website was originally for tracking his training progress as I began owner training. Quickly, I realized I was in over my head and hired a professional trainer to help me instead.

Plus, every time I sat down to write about Jackson’s progress, I found myself talking about baking. I’m not sure why, but I soon realized it was my passion. I found it’s enjoyable teaching others how to bake. I honestly owe this ability to Jackson as he makes it possible for me to go out to the stores and gather ingredients.

If you want to follow more on Jackson, check out his instagram page. He and his siblings will be visiting in addition to photos of baked goodies. Be sure to say happy fourth anniversary, Jackson, while you are there! Now, if you will excuse us, we promised to make him some snacks.
