Ingredients
1 ¼cups(187.5g) flour
½cup(113g) softened butter
½cup(113g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
¼cup(56g) white chocolate chips
¼cup(56g) brown sugar
¼cup(50g) white sugar
1large(50g) egg
2tbs(12g) red and green sanding sugar*
1tsp(5mL) vanilla
½tsp(3g) baking soda
½tsp(2.5g) salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F (190C.)
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
In large bowl, beat softened butter and sugars until creamy. Beat in the egg and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour mixture just until blended. Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and sanding sugar.
Drop 1 tbs of batter approximately 2" (5cm) apart on a baking sheet.
Bake 9 - 12 minutes. Let sit for 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Notes
*Sprinkles or other candy toppings can be used in place or addition to the sanding sugar.
