Up on the Rooftop Reindeer Slobber Cookies

What's red and green and white all over? These wonderfully tasty cookies! Do I hear reindeer on the roof? You just might making their favorite junk food. Reindeer slobber cookies are great for the holidays.

Ingredients

1 ¼ cups (187.5g) flour
½ cup (113g) softened butter
½ cup (113g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
¼ cup (56g) white chocolate chips
¼ cup (56g) brown sugar
¼ cup (50g) white sugar
1 large (50g) egg
2 tbs (12g) red and green sanding sugar*
1 tsp (5mL) vanilla
½ tsp (3g) baking soda
½ tsp (2.5g) salt

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375F (190C.)
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
In large bowl, beat softened butter and sugars until creamy. Beat in the egg and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour mixture just until blended. Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and sanding sugar.
Drop 1 tbs of batter approximately 2" (5cm) apart on a baking sheet.
Bake 9 - 12 minutes. Let sit for 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Notes

*Sprinkles or other candy toppings can be used in place or addition to the sanding sugar.
