Made with cinnamon, walnuts and semi-sweet chocolate chips, this is not your grandma's classic chocolate chip recipe! Still as easy to make as the original with a more grown up taste. Swap out the walnuts for any kind of nut or leave them out all together.

Ingredients
1 ¼cups(187.5g) flour
½cup(113g) softened butter or margarine
½cup (113g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
½cup(100g) sugar
½cup(56g) chopped walnuts
¼cup(56g) brown sugar
1large(50g) egg
1tsp(5mL) vanilla
1tsp(2g) cinnamon
½tsp(3g) baking soda
½tsp(2.5g) salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F (190C.)
Combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
In large bowl, beat softened butter and sugars until creamy. Beat in the egg and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour mixture just until blended. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
Drop 1 tbs batter onto a cookie sheet 2" (5cm) apart.
Bake 8 - 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes; remove to wire rack to finish cooling.
